MORTON – Bich Thi Nguyen, 74, of Morton, passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021, at her home.

She was born on August 14, 1946, in Hanoi, Vietnam, to Chan De Trinh and Binh Tuyet Tran. She married Khanh Nguyen in Fort Smith, Ark., on January 29, 1977. He survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Kathy (Emilio) Casado of Winter Garden, Fla. and Lisa (Nick) Schuck of Morton; one son, Johnny (Liz) Nguyen of Morton; six grandchildren, Liliana, Kristian, Sophie, Evelyn, Madeline, and Vanessa; three sisters, Yen (Hoang) Ho of Stanton, Calif., Canh Van Trinh of Midway City, Calif., and Tuyet Van (Tri) Ho of Peoria; and one brother, Thanh (Christine) Trinh of Westminster, Calif.

Bich was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Morton, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 3, 2021, with Msgr. Gerald Ward and Father Vien Van Do officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, July 2, 2021 at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton, and also from 9 to 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Roberts Cemetery in Morton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Morton.
