Brad Summers

SOUTH PEKIN – Brad E. Summers, 53, of South Pekin, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at his home. Brad was born on December 31, 1968, in Peoria, to Kenneth and Caroline(Dray) Summers.

Surviving are his children, Cassandra (Adam) Bonin of Enterprise, Ala., Candace (Josh) Gilles of Peoria, Ill., Cameron Summers of Charleston, Ill., Connor Summers of Charleston, Ill., and Carter Summers of Hammond, Ill.; four grandchildren; and his siblings Steve (Robin) Summers of Peoria, Ill., Gary (Beth) Summers of Washington, Ill., and Connie (Brian) Shepherd of Goodfield, Ill.

He was preceded in death by both parents. 

Brad grew up in East Peoria, Ill. and graduated from East Peoria Community High School. He spent his career as a carpenter. 

Brad loved and was so proud of his five children, enjoyed grilling for friends and family, and never missed a Broncos game. 

Cremation rights will be accorded.

Memorials may be made to Tazewell Animal Protective Society (TAPS).
