MORTON – Clifford H. Waldbeser, 89, of Sun Lakes, Ariz., formerly of Morton, passed away on December 15, 2021, at his home in Arizona. Mary F. Waldbeser, 87, also of Sun Lakes, Ariz., formerly of Morton, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2019, in Arizona.
Clifford was born on February 25, 1932, to Chris and Ricka (Stieglitz) Waldbeser. Mary was born on March 6, 1932, to Fred and Kathryn (Strunk) Oekel. They were married on December 20, 1952.
Clifford and Mary are survived by three children, Krista (Robert) Molter of Sun Lakes, Ariz., Karma (Mark) Schweighart of Edmond, Okla. and Kathryn (Sam) Selle of Mahomet, Ill.; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; Clifford’s sister, LaRae Minger of Eureka; and Mary’s three siblings, AJ (Sonja) Rassi of Peoria Heights, Kenneth (Judi) Rassi of Morton, and Jane (James) Blosser of Morton.
They were preceded in death by one grandson; one granddaughter; and Clifford’s brother, Howard.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A graveside service with burial of Cliff and Mary’s cremated remains will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, June 3, 2022, at Morton Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery.
The family requests that rather than flowers, remembrances be made in the form of contributions to the American Heart Association or your favorite charity.
