Dale Domnick, Sr.

MORTON – Dale E. Domnick, Sr., 67, of Morton, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at his home.

He was born on June 14, 1954, in Peoria, Ill., to Dale L. and Joyce (Grimm) Domnick. He married Nancy Armbruster in Morton, Ill., on December 30, 1978.

Surviving are his wife, Nancy Domnick of Morton; son, Dale (Shannon) Domnick, Jr. of Morton; daughter, Amy (Jordan) Repholz of Morton; four grandchildren, Jack and Hannah Domnick and Caden and Grant Repholz; four sisters, Gerry (Doug) Kruse of Morton, Ellen (Ron) Farney of Bloomington, Kathy (Jim) Ritthaler of Morton and Jan (Mark) Hohulin of Morton.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Dana Nichole; and his parents.

Dale worked at Aramark Uniform Services for 43 years, retiring in July 2021 as a route salesman.

He was a loving father and grandfather, as well as a man of strong faith. Dale had a love for being outdoors and enjoyed spending time at his property in Farmington, Ill. He was well known for his fun personality and sense of humor.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 8, 2022, at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Morton Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery.
