Daniel A. "Dan" Pickering

DANIEL A. PICKERING
RICHMOND, KY - Daniel A. "Dan" Pickering, 75, of Richmond, Ky., passed away Sun., Oct. 14, 2018, at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, Ky.
Dan was born April 11, 1943, in East Moline, Ill., to Roy Edward and Bertha Pickering. He married Sheila Schenke on Dec. 14, 1963 in Morton.
Surviving are his wife, Sheila of Richmond, Ky.; one son, Greg Pickering of Dunlap; one daughter, Betsy Hinds of Southlake, Texas; five grandchildren; and one sister.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Dan was a graduate of Morton High School. He lived in Kentucky for the last 30 years, where he enjoyed working as an outside sales representative for J.P. Cooke.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Lexington, Ky.
Private services were held for the family.
Burial was at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
