MORTON – David Arthur Jonas, 75, a former long-time parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Parish, was called home to God on September 8, 2021, after a 15 year valiant fight with Parkinson’s.
Dave is survived by his wife, Dee Jonas; his five children, Kelly (Tim DeMarco) of Cascade, Wis., Molly (Ray) Klein of Bellingham, Wash., Annie (Nick) Lindekugel of Portland, Ore., K.T. (Ryan) Anderson of Edina, Minn. and Matt (Erin) Jonas of Phoenix, Ariz.; 10 beautiful grandchildren, Annaleah, Emma, Jonas, Jackson, Finn, Etta, Cecilia, Hazel, Laiden and Margot; and siblings, Joe (Nancy) Jonas, Glen Jonas, and Ruth Ann (Tommy) Ratz.
A Celebration of Life and Parkinson’s Fundraiser will take place on Saturday, June 18, 2022, beginning with Mass at 12:30 pm at Blessed Sacrament Church. Inurnment will follow at Hirstein Cemetery in Morton. A dinner/Parkinson’s fundraiser will take place at the KC Hall in Morton.
Memorials may be made to University of Minnesota, Bob Allison Ataxia Research Center, in memory of David Jonas.
Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton is handling arrangements.
