Deborah Schultz

MORTON Deborah Schultz, 66, of Morton, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023.
She was born to the late Richard and Mildred Willis and was beloved by her sister, Diana Stewart.
Deb is survived by four children: Dave McWilliams, of Raleigh, NC; Erin Sauder of Chicago; Steve Schultz Jr of Chicago and Andrew Schultz of Washington, IL.
Deb found joy in making her kids laugh, giving lots of presents on holidays, and hunting for flea market treasures. Her children still can hear her silly names for fast-food restaurants like "Burger Whop, McDoogles, and Taco Hell." She was a lover of film and an avid collector, loved vintage Americana, and always had something from the 50s, 60s, and 70s playing on the radio. Some of her children's favorite memories were the countless “movie theatre” nights at home with popcorn and lots of candy, when there wasn't anything worth seeing at the theater.
She worked at assisted living and memory care facilities with Villas of Holly Brook in Washington, IL.
Cremation rites will be accorded. A visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, February 12, 2023, at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton.
