DELMA R. RENDLEMAN
WASHINGTON - Delma R. Rendleman, 91, of Washington, passed away Sunday, Oct. 1, 2017 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice in Peoria.
Delma was born July 27, 1926 in Alto Pass, Ill., to Fountian and Carrie (Moreau) Tripp. She married Loran Rendleman on Feb. 7, 1943 in Cape Girardeau, Mo. He preceded her in death on July 9, 2003. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
Surviving are one son, Scott (Janet) Rendleman of Morton, three daughters, Joyce (Robert) Cottingham of Peoria, Marsha Brinkler of Henry, Ill, and Karen (Donald) Yerly of Morton; nine grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren.
Delma was a dedicated and loving homemaker who took great pride in caring for her husband and children.
She was a member of Campers on Mission and of the First Baptist Church in Morton, where a funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wed. Oct. 4, 2017, with church ministers officiating. Visitation will also be held at the church from 9:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. prior to the service on Wed. Entombment will be in Swan Lake Mausoleum in Peoria.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Benevolence Ministry.
