Denise Lewis

EAST PEORIA – Denise K. Lewis, 66, of East Peoria, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022, at UnityPoint Methodist in Peoria.

Denise was born June 20, 1955, in Peoria to Ralph and Doris (Stegmaier) DeWitt. She married Richard Lewis on April 3, 1976, in Peoria.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Lewis of East Peoria; two sons, Blake (Misty) Lewis of East Peoria and Brett (Liz) Lewis of East Peoria and grandson, Christian Lewis.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Denise worked at Illinois Bell for 37 years.

Cremation rites will be accorded. A private graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton.

Memorials may be made to South Side Mission.
