Dennis "Denny" Wyzlic

DEER CREEK – Dennis A. “Denny” Wyzlic, 68, of Deer Creek, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria.

He was born on March 3, 1954, in Peoria, to Donald and Geraldine (Webb) Wyzlic. Denny married Patsy Hines on August 12, 1988 in Pekin.

Surviving are his wife, Patsy Wyzlic of Deer Creek; stepchildren, Greg (Marilyn) Hines, Lori (Kim) Fritch and Chris Hines, all of Deer Creek; two brothers, Donald Wyzlic, Jr. of Peoria, David (Kim) Wyzlic of Metamora and Debra Gilliatt of East Peoria; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his step-mother, Rosemary Wyzlic.

Denny was an aviation mechanic in the United States Navy serving on numerous aircraft carriers.

He was an avid hunter and loved to golf.

Denny was a simple man who loved the simple things in life and was a friend to all.

A Celebration of Life Service will take place at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the Deer Creek American Legion Post 1276.
