Donald Miller

MORTON – Donald Miller, 80, of Morton, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022, in Morton.

He was born on September 13, 1941, in Bloomington, Ill., to Melvin and Bertha (Reuter) Miller. He married Carolyn Vaughn in Bloomington, Ill., on January 8, 1993. She preceded him in death on January 27, 2021.

Surviving are his children, Phil Miller of Peoria, Donald Miller, Jr. and Patricia (Timothy) Hodel, both of Mackinaw, and Ronald Miller of Morton; two step-daughters, Krissy Fuquay of Largo, Fla. and Shellie Frost of Peoria.; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and five siblings, Terry (Kathy) Miller of Panama City Beach, Fla., Barb (Keith) Windley of Queen Creek, Ariz., Connie (Craig) Reints of Mesa, Ariz., Dean Miller of Laport, Texas, and Larry (Anna) Miller of Morton.

Don worked for Tazewell Floor Covering in Morton. He loved gardening and yardwork and was a handyman. Don was a sports fanatic.

He loved spending time and drinking beer with his family.

Cremation rites will be accorded. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Lung Association.
