Edwin Frank

EAST PEORIA – Edwin G. “Ed” Frank, 87, of East Peoria, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022, in Morton.

He was born on July 10, 1934, in East Peoria, Ill., to Benjamin and Hildred (Ames) Frank. He married Joyce Garwood in East Peoria, Ill. on July 29, 1954. She preceded him in death on October 27, 2020. He was also preceded in death by one son, Carl Frank; and one daughter, Cynthia Lane.
Surviving are his children, Ed (Erma) Frank, Jr. of Glendale, Ariz., Robert (Glenda) Frank of Chillicothe, Cheryl (Jerry) Majors of Morton, Brenda Frank of Morton, Michael Frank of Las Vegas, Nev.; son-in-law, Joel Lane of East Peoria; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Ed was a member of First Baptist Church in Morton. He worked at Caterpillar, Inc. for 32 years. From the age of 7 to 85, Ed’s true passion and was truck farming.
A private graveside burial will take place at Roberts Cemetery in Morton.
Memorials may be made to OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice.
