East Peoria — Eliana L. Kimmerle, 6, of East Peoria, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2020.
She was born on May 28, 2014, in Peoria to Scott and Niki (Flowers) Kimmerle.
Eliana is survived by her parents, Scott and Niki of East Peoria, three siblings, Malia, Charlie and Livia all of East Peoria; maternal grandparents, Robert and Donna Flowers of Alexis, Ill; paternal grandfather, Robert Kimmerle of Billings, Mont., paternal grandmother, Dee Kimmerle of Plentywood, Mont.; two uncles, Kurt (Jenn) Flowers and Kyle (Ashley) Flowers; one aunt, Lisa Beverly; and six cousins, Bryce Collins, Payton and James Flowers, Jaxen, Preston and Carsyn Flowers.
Eliana loved swimming, dancing, singing, tumbling, and playing with her sisters and brother. She wanted to be a ballerina. Above all, she loved pink, purple, sparkley, flowery, fancy, beautiful things. She loved and felt deeply, and was loved beyond measure. She was a sweet, strong, independent, smart, and sassy girl. Even though she was only with us for six years, they were some of the best of our lives. We will miss her unimaginably, but always love and remember her.
A memorial service will be at held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at the Morton United Methodist Church with Pastor Michael Paulson officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 5:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Social distancing guidelines will be observed during the visitation and memorial service and masks are required.
Memorials may be made to the Eliana Kimmerle Fund. The fund will be used to plant trees in Eliana’s memory.
