HOPEDALE - F. Irene Phillipson, 94, of Hopedale, formerly of Groveland, passed away Fri., Nov. 2, 2018, at Hopedale Nursing Home.
Irene was born Aug. 17, 1924, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Lyle and Ressie (Conrad) Phillipson.
Surviving are her caretaker, Shane Campbell and her cousin, Rosa Kuhnkey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and her lifelong friend, Betty Russell.
Irene worked for Caterpillar Inc. and Greater Peoria Real Estate in real estate and investing, retiring in 1980.
Irene was a member of Glen Oak Christian Church in Peoria.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, November 9, 2018, at Fondulac Township Cemetery in East Peoria. Rev. Randy Williams will officiate.
Memorials may be made to Peoria Chapter of the Salvation Army or to American Red Cross.
