MORTON - Gary L. Wilkinson, 75, of Morton, passed away Sat., Nov. 25, 2017, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Gary was born July 28, 1942, in Peoria, to LeRoy and Joyce (Martin) Wilkinson. He married Sarah Brickner on May 17, 2003 in Bartonville, Ill.
Surviving are his wife Sarah Wilkinson of Morton; one daughter, Marilee (Pat) Noland of Chokoloskee, Fla.; one son, Jon (JoEllen) Wilkinson of Anderson, S.C.; five grandchildren, Jonathan Wilkinson, Chase Wilkinson, Caleb (Emily) Wilkinson, Kristen (Justin) Cobb, and Benjamin Wilkinson, all of Anderson, S.C.; and four great-grandchildren, Lily and Bolton Wilkinson, and Lincoln and Liam Cobb, all of Anderson, S.C.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents.
He worked at Komatsu America Corp for 36 ½ years. He was the manager of publications and service training.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thurs., Nov. 30, 2017 at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria.
Memorials may be made to Tazewell Animal Protective Society (TAPS).
