HENRY "HANK" GRIMM
MORTON - Henry "Hank" Grimm, Jr., 89, passed away Wed., March 14, 2018, at Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton.
Hank was born Feb. 24, 1929, in Peoria, to Henry Grimm, Sr. and Kathryn (Steiner) Grimm. He married Mary Lou Blunier on Sept. 10, 1950 in Eureka, Ill.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Lou of Morton; one daughter, Marcia (Jim) Rinkenberger of Naples, Fla.; four sons, Mark (Becky) Grimm, Brad (Pat) Grimm, Todd (Kathryn) Grimm, and Tracy (Missy) Grimm, all of Morton; nine grandchildren, Amy Hall, Kelly (Tommy) Hartford, Brett (Lena) Grimm, Paul (Elise) Grimm, Chad Grimm, Sara (Nick) Armstrong, Ryan (Becky) Bachman, Allie (David) Roman, Macy Grimm and her fiancé, Ricky Connors; and 19 great-grandchildren, Addie, Nick and Braden Hall; Thomas, Jack, Max, and Sophie Hartford; Jacie, Naya, Alia, and Chase Grimm; Judah, Eli, Shilo, and Silas Grimm; Aspen, Morgan, and Mason Armstrong; and Birdie Bachman. He is also survived by two sisters, Marie Taufer and Joyce Domnick, both of Morton.
He was preceded in death by his brother Bob Grimm and two sisters, Carolyn Easterling and Norma Zeller.
Hank began working in the family business at Grimm Home Oil in Morton. Then, making his career at Bob Grimm Chevrolet as service manager, retiring in 1992.
He served four years as a trustee on the Morton Village Board.
Hank was a member of the Kennel Lake Sportsmen's Club and the Wilmor Sportsman Club, both in Morton. He enjoyed hunting and being an outdoorsman. He was a member of Pheasants Forever, Ducks Unlimited, and National Elk Foundation. He also enjoyed music, especially Bluegrass Gospel.

Hank was a member of the Morton Apostolic Christian Church, where services will be held at 10 a.m., Mon., March 19, 2018, with ministers of the church officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 to 4 p.m., Sun., March 18, at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton and from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at the church prior to the service on Monday. Burial will be at Morton Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Apostolic Christian Restmor or to Midwest Food Bank, both in Morton.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Restmor who provided love and care to their father.
