Herschel W. Roberson

Morton - Herschel W. "Joker" Roberson, 88, of Morton, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018, at his home.
He was born Dec. 1, 1930, in Pekin to Herschel and Florence (Faux) Roberson. He Married Barbara Vance on Sept. 4, 1948, in Kahoka, Mo. She preceded him in death on Oct. 24, 2012. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Bonnie Gesell.
Surviving are his son Gregory Roberson of Bartonville; two daughters, Monica (Randy) Whitman of East Peoria and Marilee Reynolds of Houston, Texas; and six grandchildren, Joshua, Courtney, Seth, Anthony, Kistina and Timothy; three great grandchildren, Tinley Jo, Jaime and Jordan; and one niece, Vicky (Hank) Kohle of Pekin.
Herschel was a lifelong union iron worker.
Cremation has been accorded.
Burial of cremated remains will be held at Hirstein Cemetery in Morton at a later date.
