James D. Warren

Morton - James D. Warren, 74, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2019 in Morton.
He was born February 4, 1945, in Vandalia, Ill., to Earl and Dorothy (Jay) Warren.
A US Army Veteran, Jim served his country in Germany, Korea, and two tours of duty in Vietnam. He obtained many honors, including a Purple Heart for his selfless acts of heroism.
Jim accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. His favorite Bible verse was Philippians 4:13.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2019, at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton, with Pastor Tim Severt officiating. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roberts Cemetery in Morton, where military rites will be accorded.
Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton is handling arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Harvest Baptist Church in Mackinaw.
