TREMONT - James C. Whittington, 54, of Tremont, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at Aperion Care in Morton.
James was born on June 6, 1965, in Peoria, to Dennis and Mary (Burden) Whittington. He married Dianne Treece on November 7, 1992, in Deer Creek. She survives.
Also surviving are his father, Dennis, of Morton; his sister, Michelle (Jim Evans) Whittington of Pekin; and his brother, Keith (Julie Arnold) Whittington of Morton.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A graveside service will take place at 12 noon on Saturday, November 9, 2019, at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton, with Don Serpette officiating.
