JOANN KNISLEY
MORTON - JoAnn Knisley, 88, of Morton, passed away Thurs., Feb. 22, 2018, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
JoAnn was born March 18, 1929, in Morton, to Louis and Emma (Seidel) Burger. She married Ralph Knisley on Dec. 12, 1948 in Morton. Ralph preceded her in death in 2002. She was also preceded in death by her son Ronald and her sister, Martha Burger.
Surviving are two sons, Robert Knisley of Washington and Ross Knisley of Lexington, Ill. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
JoAnn was a dedicated and loving homemaker who took great pride caring for her family. She always looked forward to watching her grandchildren play volleyball and would even follow the team to away games. JoAnn loved making memories with her great-granddaughter Nora, who was her pride and joy.
She was a member of Community United Church of Christ in Morton. She enjoyed volunteering for the Special Olympics and for AC Restmor in Morton, both for over 20 years.

Visitation will be held Tues., Feb. 27, 2018 from 9:30 to 11 a.m., with a funeral service directly following at 11 a.m., at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton. Burial will be held at Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery in Morton.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Runners Association.
