Joshua Schoenbein

MORTON – Joshua K. Schoenbein, 36, of Morton, passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, in North Pekin, Ill.

He was born on February 8, 1985 in Chicago, Ill., to Bruce Schoenbein and Lisa Kaiser.
Surviving are his mother, Lisa (Bill) Quigley of Morton; father, Bruce (Amy) Schoenbein of Denver, Colo.; four siblings, Andrew (Krystal) Schoenbein of North Pekin, Ally (Georges) Ngona of Peoria, and Edgar and Isabella Schoenbein of Denver, Colo.; grandmothers, Irene Kaiser and Lydia Schoenbein; and one niece, Lydia Schoenbein.
He was preceded in death by grandfathers, Lester Kaiser and Bruce M. Schoenbein; uncle, Mark Peters; and step-brother, Chris Quigley.
Josh was goofy and engaging with an endearing spirit.
Cremation rites will be accorded. A visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton, followed by a short memorial message by Dan Steffen at 6 p.m.
