MORTON – Leilani L. Doss, 80, of Morton, passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

She was born on July 15, 1941, in Pekin, Ill., to James and Virginia (White) Williams. She married Lester Doss in Pekin, Ill., on February 3, 1962. He preceded her in death on November 19, 2008. She was also preceded in death by one step-son, Jimmy Doss; and her brother, Douglas Williams.

Surviving are three sons, Douglas (Della) Doss of Josephine, Texas, Darrin (Carol) Doss and Deven (Heidi) Doss, both of Washington, Ill.; daughter, Kristen Doss of Chicago, Ill.; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Julie Hedrick of Cape Coral, FL and one step-daughter-in-law, Bonnie Doss of Athens, Texas.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton, with Pastor Clayton Tinervin officiating. Visitation will be from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Deer Creek, Ill.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
