Lois Ulrich

MORTON – Lois Ogle Ulrich, 95, of Morton, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2022, at her home.

She was born on January 7, 1927, in Rockport, Ill., to William H. and Ola (Mooney) Ogle. She married Willis R. Ulrich on May 4, 1947, in Eureka, Ill. He preceded her in death in 1997. She was also preceded in death by two brothers.

She is survived by her daughter, Nikki Ulrich of Morton.

Lois was raised in Barry, Ill. and attended schools there, graduating high school in 1945. She later attended Millikin University and Eureka College, where she met her future husband. A music major, she later gave private voice and piano lessons when they lived in Peoria.

A resident of Morton for over 40 years, she was a member of Mackinaw Christian Church, where she sang as a soloist for the choir. Previously, she was a member of First Christian Church in Peoria, where she sang with the choir and served as a soloist.

Cremation rites will be accorded. Burial of cremated remains will be buried in Park Lawn Cemetery in Barry, Ill.
