Lori Weiss

MORTON – Lori S. Weiss, 63, of Morton, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria.

She was born on March 4, 1958 in Peoria, Ill., to Robert and Shirley (Greiner) Houghton. They both preceded her in death.

She is survived by three children, Marc (Megan) Houghton of Morton, Kris (Tiffany Feger) Weiss of Creve Coeur, and Carrie (Marc Feldhaus) Weiss of East Peoria; and seven grandchildren, Rylee, Marcus, Onaleigh, Jace, Jaxon, Oakley, and Jett.

Lori retired from the Illinois Secretary of State office on May 1, 2021.

Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her grandchildren, whether it be attending their sporting events, doing crafts, playing legos, or other adventures.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton. A graveside funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at Roberts Cemetery in Morton.

Memorials may be made to Illinois Cancer Care.
