MORTON - Marcelline M. Tilley, 90, of Morton, passed away Fri., July 6, 2018 at UnityPoint Health - Methodist in Peoria, surrounded by her family.
Marcelline was born March 2, 1928, in Peoria, to Otto and Marquerite "Marie" (McNickle) Santo. On July 14, 1951 she married Harry Zimmerman in Peoria. Harry preceded her in death on Aug. 14, 1978. She then married Orville Tilley on May 2, 1995 in Pekin. He preceded Marcelline in death on June 5, 2006. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Agnes Santo and Anna Bienemann.
Surviving are one daughter, Karen Zimmerman of Morton; three sons, Steven Zimmerman of Morton, Bradley (Robin) Zimmerman of Columbia Falls, Mont., and Mark (Claire) Zimmerman of Prosper, Texas, and four grandchildren, Seth Zimmerman of Kalispell, Mont., Mitchel Zimmerman and Madison Zimmerman, both of Prosper, Texas, and Carson Pier of Morton. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, and four step-great-grandchildren.
Marcelline was a dedicated homemaker who took great pride in caring for her family.
She was a former member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pekin and presently at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church of Morton.
Marcelline consistently demonstrated her Christianity with her many acts of kindness, donations and volunteering.
Visitation will be held on Tues., July 10, 2018 from 9 to 9:45 a.m., at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Morton. A funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m., with Msgr. Gerald Ward officiating.
A graveside service will take place at 12:30 p.m. on Tues. at Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
