MORTON - Mary Ann Fieffer, 86, of Morton, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019, at Rosewood Care Center in East Peoria.
Mary Ann was born on July 12, 1933, to August and Anna (Nieckula) Szczepanski, in Harvey, Ill. She married Theodore Fieffer on September 8, 1956, in Harvey, Ill. He preceded her in death on September 2, 1994. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Raymond Szczepanski.
She is survived by one son, Theodore (Paola) Fieffer, Jr. of Naples, Italy; two daughters, Cheryl (Thomas) Morris of Washington and Renee (John) Roach of Wentzville, Mo.; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Audrey Szczepanski of Milwaukee, Wis.
Mary Ann worked in the clerical department for the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Chicago for nine years. She later worked at Farm and Fleet in Morton for 17 years until retiring as Tool Department Manager in 1993.
Mary Ann was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Morton where she was also a member of the altar and rosary society.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Morton, with Msgr. Gerald T. Ward will officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10-10:45 a.m. A private burial will be held at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton.
