MORTON - Michael L. Guidotti, 60, of Morton, formerly of Hanna City and Chicago, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018, at his home.
Michael was born October 31, 1957, in Peoria, to Vernon and Mary Ann (West) Guidotti.
Surviving are his sister, Cindy (Todd) Curtis of Morton; two nieces, Kelly (Auston) Hobson of Morton and Kari Curtis of Washington; and two nephews, Jason (Kayla) Curtis of Danvers, Ill. and Joe (Heather) Curtis of Hudson, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Michael was a 1983 graduate of Western Illinois University.
For the past six months, Michael was an activity aide at Aperion Care Morton Terrace. Michael was a certified therapeutic recreation specialist.
He volunteered at Midwest Food Bank in Morton and also at Morton United Methodist Church, where he was an associate member.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday, September 17, 2018, at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton. Further visitation will be from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, September 18, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11 a.m. at Morton United Methodist Church, with Pastor Gabe Wanck officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Morton United Methodist Church building fund.
