MICHELLE A. ROSSI
MORTON - Michelle Anne Rossi, 28, of Morton, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 10, 2017.
She was born Oct. 8, 1988, in Peoria, to Drs. Thomas and Janice (Takata) Rossi.
Michelle graduated valedictorian from Morton High School in 2007. She received her Bachelor of Science degree, graduating at the top of her class in Nursing from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana in June of 2013. She was a Registered Nurse in her mother's Internal Medicine office in Morton, last working July 8, 2017.
She leaves to treasure and cherish her memory, her mother and father; two grandmothers, Lorayne Rossi of Hopedale, Ill, and Loretta Takata of Arlington Heights, Ill.; five brothers, Dr. Michael (Lindsey) Rossi of Houston, Texas, Dr. Daniel (Dr. Ashley) Rossi of Boston, Mass., Dr. Douglas (Rachel) Rossi of Grand Rapids, Mich., David Rossi and Marcus Rossi, both of Morton; three sisters, Diana (Danny) Springer of Morton, Dr. Maria (Greg) Goebel of Springfield, Ill., and Monica Rossi of Peoria; and seven nieces and nephews, Gavin, Jude, Giavanna, Malone, Blythe, Zion, and Olivianna; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Dr. Lawrence Rossi Sr. and Earl Takata; and one cousin, John Rossi.

Michelle had a warm and loving heart and a beautiful smile. She loved her eight siblings and her many nieces and nephews. She placed everyone ahead of herself and always went the extra mile in all of her endeavors. She enjoyed listening to country music, reading Scripture, entertaining her nieces and nephews, and shopping. She was very compassionate, hard-working, and dedicated in her faith to the Lord. She will be dearly missed, but her spirit will remain in our hearts forever.

A private family visitation and private funeral Mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Morton. Msgr. Gerald Ward, Fr. Kyle Lucas, Fr. Lucas Rossi, Fr. Mark DeSutter, Deacon Kevin Zeeb, and Deacon Greggorio Serangeli will preside over the Mass. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Pekin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church building fund or to the Hopedale Medical Complex Foundation.
