Norman E. Foster

MORTON - Norman E. Foster, 89, of Morton, passed away Nov. 10, 2018, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.
He was born September 11, 1929, in Vermont, Ill., to Marcus and Mildred (Cleor) Foster. He married Doris Nunn on April 4, 1953, in Ipava, Ill. She preceded him in death on Nov. 17, 2007. He was also preceded in death by his parents, one grandchild and one sister-in-law.
Norman is survived by three sons, Cary (Barbara) Foster of Morton, Eric (Chery) Foster of Morton and Joe (Carmen) Foster of Brandon, Fla.; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one brother, Donald Foster of Ashdown, Ark.
Norman was an Army veteran from 1948 to 1952. He worked as a supervisor at Western Electric, retiring in 1981, after 29 years.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
There will be no services. Burial of cremated remains will be held at a later date at Vermont Cemetery in Vermont, Ill.
