WASHINGTON – Patricia G. “Pat” Kozlevcar, 78, of Washington, Ill., formerly of Morton, passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021, at her home.
She was born on October 10, 1942, in Kankakee, Ill., to Owen and Aldea (Feller) Heeler. She married Carl Kozlevcar in Joliet, Ill., on June 1, 1963.
Surviving are her husband, Carl of Washington; son, CJ (Mona) Kozlevcar of Wyckoff, N.J.; two grandchildren, Olivia and Andrew Kozlevcar; son-in-law, Rick Zath of Washington, Ill.; sister, Paula (Jim) Moore of Buckeye, Ariz.; and one special niece, Jill Francis.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Michelle Zath, on December 8, 2019; and two sisters, Pamela Wineinger and Peg Kapraun.
Pat graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Bradley University.
She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Morton, where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society, and was very active in the Family Life Ministry and Work of Our Hands Ministry for many years. Pat was an extraordinary minister, bringing communion to the sick and homebound for 25 years.
Cremation rites will be accorded. A graveside burial of cremated remains will take place at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton, at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, with Msgr. Gerald Ward officiating. A Memorial Mass will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Blessed Sacrament Building Fund.
