Peter Bouchard

MORTON – Peter A. Bouchard, 81, of Morton, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020, at UnityPoint Health Pekin Hospital.

He was born on March 26, 1939 in Ogdensburg, N.Y., to the late Henry and Leona (Pfaff) Bouchard. He married Patricia Nedza in Ogdensburg, N.Y., on March 16, 1968.

Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Laura (Tom) Elam of Morton and Kathryn (Brad) Marshall of Colona, Ill.; three grandchildren, Hunter, Caroline, and Brock; and two sisters-in-law, Jessica Bouchard and Joan Bouchard; and several nephews and a niece.

He was preceded in death by one infant son, Henry; two brothers, Richard Bouchard and Michael Bouchard; and one sister, Ann O’Neil.

Peter was a United States Air Force veteran with 20 years of service.

He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Morton, and also a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

A private family Mass of Christian burial will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Morton, with Msgr. Gerald Ward officiating. Burial will be at Hirstein Cemetery in Morton, where military rites will be conducted.

Memorials may be made to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church or the Gary Sinise Foundation.
