MORTON – Philip S. Webber, 92, of Morton, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2022, at Reflections Memory Care in Morton.
He was born on November 7, 1929, in LaGrange, Ill., to Carl and Constance (Stroh) Webber. He married Patricia Podd in LaGrange, Ill., on September 4, 1954.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia Webber of Morton; three daughters, Mary (Craig) Bartos of Onalaska, Wis., Carolyn Webber of Westchester, Ill. and Ann (David) Bowman of Wildwood, Ill.; and grandchildren, Karen Bartos, Laura (Daniel) Corey, John Bartos, Kristina Bowman, and KelliAnn Bowman.
Philip was a US Navy veteran. He worked as an engineer at Caterpillar, Inc. for 40 years, retiring in 1992.
He was a member of All Saints’ Church in Morton and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
Cremation rites will be accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to University of Illinois College of Engineering or All Saints’ Church in Morton.
