Robin Strange

MORTON – Robin L. Strange, 59, of Morton, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2022, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

She was born on August 1, 1963, in Peoria, to Robert Strange and Joyce (Anderson) Noirot.

Surviving are her siblings, Scott (Rhonda) Strange of Russellville, Ark., Jeffery Strange of Birmingham, Ala., Laura Strange of Newport, Tenn., Sarah (Jamie) Prichard of Knoxville, Tenn., Julia Strange of Newport, Tenn. and Amy (Bill) Vance of Morton; one son, Lucas Tunis of Muncie, Ind.; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by both parents, stepfather, Frank Noirot and one infant brother, Joey Strange.

Robin was a registered nurse. She later became a professor at St. Francis Medical Center College of Nursing in Peoria, where she was a member of the alumni association and honor society.

She was an avid Tennessee Volunteer football fan. Robin enjoyed camping in the outdoors and was an accomplished billiards player. She loved to laugh and was especially close to her niece, Francheska.

Cremation rites will be accorded. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association.
