ROGER GRANT
MORTON - Roger J. Grant, 77, of Niles, Mich., formerly of the Peoria area, passed away Monday, December 11, 2017, in Niles, Mich.
He was born November 22, 1940, in Peoria, to Kenneth Joseph and Margaret Pauline (Ice) Grant.
Surviving are his children, Cheryl (Tim) O'Brien of Peoria, John (Aimee) Grant of Morton, Dan (Linda) Grant of Peoria, Don (Laurie) Grant of Morton, Nicholas Grant of Marquette Heights, Ill., Ryan (An) Grant of Bartonville, Ill., and Erik Grant of Pekin; nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one brother, Alan (Shirley) Grant of Beloit, Wis.; and one sister, Sandy (Jerry) Siebold of Niles, Mich.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Joe.
Roger retired from Canteen in East Peoria after 35 years.
He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan. Roger enjoyed playing golf and loved playing any kind of ball game.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, December 22, 2017, at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton with Pastor Larry Cravens officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial of cremated remains will be held at a later date in Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Runners' Association.
