MORTON – Rose J. Miracle, 99, of Morton, passed Friday, October 30, 2020, at Washington Senior Living in Washington, Ill.
Rose was born on March 19, 1921, to Jacob and Agatha (Dixer) Zupanc, in Iowa. She married D. Dale Miracle on July 12, 1945, in Alburn, Ill. He preceded her in death on January 13, 2011. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Becky Boeschen and one step grandson, Eric Rigelwood.
Surviving are her one son, Mark (Diane) of Pateros, Wash.; one daughter, Shelly (Steve) Rigelwood of East Peoria; one son-in-law, Gary Boeschen of Fort Myers, Fla.; four grandchildren, Aaron (Sarah) Klunk, Ashley Klunk and Alyssa (Andrew) Dryden and Stephanie (Jimmy) Richardson; and four great grandchildren, Abram, Timberlyn, Paislee and August.
Rose was a nurse for 10 years. Later in life, she worked at Morton High School.
Rose and Dale were snowbirds to Fort Myers, Fla. for 25 years during their 65 year marriage. Rose was a very loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother who always put her family first.
She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Morton, where a private Mass of Christian Burial will be held, with Msgr. Gerald Ward officiating. Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield, Ill.
Memorials may be made to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
