Sherry Clark

MORTON – Sheridah K. “Sherry” Clark, 74, of Morton, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022, at home.

She was born on September 14, 1947, in Peoria, Ill., to William and Ella (Stieglitz) Bartelmay. She married Gary Clark in Morton, Ill., on June 24, 1967. He survives.

Also surviving are her two daughters, Micki (Jimmy) Modlin of Canton, Ill. and Kati (Matt) Lucas of Morton; three grandchildren, Shayla Rippey, Alex Rippey and Karli Lucas; brother, Rex (Cathy) Bartelmay of Morton; and her beloved fur babies, Cash and Mae.

She was preceded in death by both parents and one son-in-law, Jim Moore.

Sherry graduated from Burlington Beauty Academy in Iowa. She was a hairdresser for 30 years later worked as a bookkeeper for the family business.

Sherry was a member of New Life Church in Morton, where she also volunteered.

A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton. Visitation will be held from 10 to 12 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hirstein Cemetery in Morton.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
