Stuart Kerrn, Sr.

MORTON – Stuart L. Kerrn, Sr., 88, of Morton, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022, at Hallmark Health Care in Pekin.
He was born on August 6, 1934 in Peoria, Ill., to Casper and Anna (Thurman) Kerrn. He married Dolores Thompson on September 1, 1956, in Peoria, Ill.

Surviving are his wife, Dolores Kerrn of Morton; four children, Karen Kerrn of Morton, Stuart Jr. (Connie) Kerrn of Glasford, Ill., Catherine (Jim) Rodts of Grant, Fla. and Frederick (Marla) Kerrn of Mapleton, Ill.; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Anna Marie Tuttle.

Stuart worked as a machine repair supervisor at Caterpillar, Inc.

A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Friday, October 7, 2022, at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Visitation will be held beginning at 11 a.m. for one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hirstein Cemetery in Morton.

Memorials may be made to UnityPoint Health Hospice.
