MORTON - Vickie M. Brewer-Robinson, 61, of Morton, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2019, at North Strand ER in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
She was born January 28, 1958, to E. Wayne and Patsy (Mason) Brewer in South Bend, Ind. She married Scott Robinson on June 22, 2013.
Surviving are her husband, Scott Robinson of Morton; three children, Brandy (Paul) Williamson of East Peoria, Erik (Tabitha) Scanlon of Hanna City, and Dane Garner of Peoria; two step-children, Wes Robinson of Washington and Whitney (Jeff) Klinke of Washington; six grandchildren, Harlow and Sullivan Williamson, Hayley and Hudson Scanlon, and Reese and Finn Klinke; her mother, Patsy Haines of Morton; two brothers, Harold (Pat) Brewer and Rick (Bonnie) Brewer, both of Morton; and two sisters, Barbara Green and Beverly Dingledine, both of Knoxville, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Vickie was a registered nurse for 20 years.
She enjoyed going to the beach and gathering at her pool with family and friends. She also loved taking care of the beautiful flowers that she grew.
Vickie was a free spirit and her favorite saying was "groovy"; there was never a conversation without that word being used.
Vickie loved her family and dog Lillian. Her grandkids meant everything to her and she loved them dearly; she was the best Grammy! Vickie counted her brothers as best friends.
Visitation will be from 4-6:45 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, 2019, at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton. A Memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. following visitation.
