WAYNE E. JOHNSON
MORTON - Wayne E. Johnson, 75, of Morton, passed away Tues., July 3, 2018 at Fondulac Rehabilitation Center in East Peoria.
Wayne was born July 26, 1942, in Lincoln, Ill., to Glenn and Gertrude (Litwiller) Johnson. He married JoAnne Burkitt on Aug. 23, 1973 in Morton.
Surviving are his wife, JoAnne, of Morton; one daughter Stacie
Vosberg of Anderson, Ind.; and two grandchildren, Kyla Jackson of Morton and Piper Vosberg of Anderson, Ind. He is also survived by one sister, Suzanne Breniser of Sun City, Ariz.
Wayne was preceded in death by one brother and one grandchild.
In his earlier years, Wayne worked as a self-employed real estate broker, and later worked in retail for J.C. Penney in Peoria.
He was a former member of the Morton Lions Club.
Wayne always enjoyed keeping up with the stock market and was also an avid collector of coins and model cars.

Cremation rites have been accorded.
Private services will be held for the family.
