William F. "Frank" "Bill" Eads

MORTON - William F. "Bill" "Frank" Eads, 87, of Morton, passed away Tues. Jan. 16, 2018, at his home.
He was born on April 15, 1930, in Selmer, Tenn., to Charles Milton and Martha (Brock) Eads. He married Sadie Teague on Aug. 22, 1953, in Corinth, Miss.
Surviving are his wife, Sadie Eads of Morton; one son, Ronald (Margie) Eads of Sunnyland; one daughter, Vickie (Bill) Woods of East Peoria; one daughter-in-law, Ann Eads of Bloomington; three grandchildren, Jessie (David) Yoder of Morton, Janet (Jim) Stomberg of Bloomington and Amanda Eads of Peoria; four step grandchildren, Chad (Surpy) Woods of Downers Grove, Josh Woods of Morton, Heather Hansen of Peoria and Melissa Hansen of Peoria; three great grandchildren, Lucas, Logan and Libby Yoder, all of Morton.
He was preceded in death by one son, Gerald; one great granddaughter, Sarah; four brothers and four sisters.
Frank was a United States Army veteran having served during the Korean War.
He retired from Nestles in 1995 as a mechanic and pack supervisor.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thurs., Jan. 18, 2018, at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton, with Pastor Randy Hall officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following services.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
