EAST PEORIA – Karl W. Hasler, 71, of East Peoria, Ill., passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Ill.
He was born on May 24, 1950 in Peoria, Ill., to Willis and Charlotte (Smithson) Hasler. He married Nichole Bynum in St. Louis, Mo., on February 22, 1998.
Surviving are his wife, Nichole Hasler of East Peoria; three children, Cory (Michelle) Hasler of Germantown Hills, Siera (Jordan) Nestrud of Morton, and Nicholas Hasler of Naperville, Ill.; and three grandchildren, Aiden Hasler and Adley and Casen Nestrud.
Karl was a loving husband, father and Papa, to his wife, children and grandchildren. The thing Karl loved doing the most was to spend time entertaining his loved ones with his incredible sense of humor. In his freetime he enjoyed fishing, rock hunting, mushroom hunting, camping, golfing, antiquing, and cooking. He kept his circle tight, but those who were lucky enough to be in it he loved with everything he had.
Cremation rites will be accorded. No service will be held.
